Julien Seignourel aka C.New was born in 1987, Monptellier, France. His musical intentions caught on very quickly as he studied solfege for 4 years and practiced guitar for 3 years. In 2005, after Joachim Garraud's show and Delon & Dalcan's live in Monptellier he developed a passion for electronic music. The same year, he start DJing on his computer. 2 years later, bored by the lack of possibilities, he acquired his first DJ’ing material. Geoffrey Vidal was born in 1985 in Rodez. He quickly discovered electronic music, influenced by Fat Boy Slim and Daft Punk. He learned the basics of Digital Dj’ing on a laptop, and in september 2007, He purchased his first pair of Pioneer CD turntables. Constantly seeking news, it is surfing the forum Joachim Garraud that these two DJ's knew each other. They met them-self later in their student town : Toulouse, the Pink City. In 2008, they decided to combine their talents and give birth to the project "Mechanical Resistance" to "burn" the dancefloors across the South of France… In the same time, they begin to produce their first tracks. they quickly discovered the infinite possibilities of the composition! They had shared thier talented world to the people of France and began mixing for clubs, bars and private parties such as the QG bar in February 2008 and at the Ramier Club (Toulouse) for a student party in April ‘08. Their next gig they played at the music festival 2008 @ Toulouse (Place Bertrand de Montaigut), playing to over 500 people. Finally in August, Paris One DJ webradio gave them the opportunity to mix in their show "Guess who comes mix tonight", and they have now earned a residency on www.paris-one.com for the year.
